Suhas Ambekar

Specialisation - Tax Advisory and Assurance
Suhas Ambekar, qualified in 1996, is a founder partner of the firm. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has worked extensively in the field of Direct and Indirect taxes including assignments of tax planning and structuring. He also has experience in conducting audit of Banks and Insurance companies and has been involved in conducting due diligence, pre-merger and post-merger audits of co-operative banks.
Apart from the above, he has been actively involved in activities of the ICAI including bearing various positions at Thane Branch of WIRC of ICAI, and as an elected member of the first managing committee of Kalyan Dombivli branch of WIRC of ICAI. He has also been a co-opted member of various committees of WIRC of ICAI. He has been a contributor to leading Marathi daily. He has been also known for his association with various NGOs.

Vijay Shelar

Vijay Shelar, qualified in 1997, is a founder partner of the firm. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has expertise in the area of Audit & Assurance and Project Finance. His areas of practice include statutory audits, bank audits (statutory and internal), Income-tax representation upto first appellate level, due diligence and project finance. He has completed certificate course on MSME from ICAI.

Jayshree Karve

Jayshree Karve, qualified in 1998, is a founder partner of the firm. She is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. She has worked extensively in the field of bank audits and has conducted statutory and concurrent branch audits of nationalised banks and co-operative banks. Her area of expertise includes bank audits, conducting viability studies of borrowers for banks.
She is known for her work in women empowerment. She is a lecturer on accountancy and has conducted numerous workshops on her domain.

Sachin Ambekar

Sachin Ambekar, qualified in 2000, is a founder partner of the firm. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has worked extensively in the field of bank audits and has conducted statutory branch audits of nationalised banks and statutory audits of co-operative banks. He has conducted concurrent audits, internal audit, revenue audit, treasury audit, foreign exchange audit, stock audit, due diligence for merger of co-operative banks. He also has experience of conducting process review of infrastructure company, financial trust, educational institutions, etc. He has completed the certificate course on concurrent audit of banks from ICAI.
He was a co-opted member of committee of co-operatives of WIRC of ICAI for 2014-15. He was member of the study group for the preparation of guidance note on audit of Co-Operative banks. He has also delivered lectures at WIRC of ICAI, CPE study circles, training program for Directors of the Banks etc.

Aditi Sawant

Aditi Sawant, qualified in 2002, is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. She joined the firm in 2002. Her areas of specialisation include Direct and Indirect tax advisory and compliance. She has handled assignments of assessments and appeals before Income tax and MVAT authorities. She also has experience in handling statutory audit assignments under the Company law, Sales Tax Law and Income tax law.

Suren Thakurdesai

Suren Thakurdesai, qualified in 1989, is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He joined the firm in 2009. He has worked with the Saraswat Co-operative Bank Limited at various positions for 20 years and retired as a Chief Manager from New Delhi Branch. He has vast experience in the banking industry and has carried out concurrent, internal and statutory audits of various banks. He has also completed 7 investigations in the audit and Inspection department of Saraswat Bank and has represented the management in enquiries. He has also conducted investigation of a fraud in a co-operative credit society. He has completed certificate course on Concurrent Audit of Banks from ICAI.

His areas of specialization are assurance of BFSI, Indirect tax advisory and compliance including GST, MVAT, Service Tax, Profession Tax, etc. He has an experience of handling large indirect tax assignments in the area of construction and real estate, manufacturing and trading, hospitality services, FMCG etc. especially assignments of MVAT, GST, Service Tax assessments and appeals. He also has experience of audits of banks and insurance companies.
He has completed the certificate course on Ind AS and certificate course on Concurrent Audit of Banks from ICAI. He has delivered lectures on service tax, GST at various forums.

Mangesh Ghanekar

Mangesh Ghanekar, qualified in 2012, is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He joined the firm in 2016. His areas of specialisation are Direct Tax compliance, advisory and litigation, Regulatory and Project Finance. He has earlier worked with Sudit K Parekh & Co, BMR Advisors and a brief stint with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC). He brings a lot of experience and value to the clients in terms of tax planning, inbound and outbound investment advisory, international tax structuring, FEMA and compliances.

Sanket Chitale, qualified in 2012, is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He joined the firm in 2016.
